I attached a leather-bolted crimson cross at the top of the cathedral ceiling. I attached a florescent shelf lite vertically. Then, I attached the torso that I painted over the light. At night you can turn on the light and the torso is back lit and glows.

I painted the walls in an old stucco, rain washed faux finish to create the allustion that the wall was taken from an old Italian grotto wall. After that was complete I embedded real crucifixes, little shelfs with bees wax candles, and candles in sconces that I constructed.

Here are samples of the jeweled crucifixes and candles that are attached to the wall. I also later added Celtic cross candle holders to the wall.

The bed has two colored sheets to match the bed and the crimson accent wall. The crimson sheets are cotton for the winter months, silk for the summer. I also have a set of beige sheets for the winter as well.

There are four rows of pillows on th bed, which are as follows: back row-body length down pillow; standard size queen pillows; 2 large microfiber crimson pillows; and three beige throw pillows with gold threading.

The night tables are distressed wood with golden highlites. On top of these are lamps with crimson shades to accentuate the pillows, sheets, accent wall, and the throw on the settee.

This settee ,(love seat), is soft gold with dark gold patterns woven throughout the fabric. The shaw is a crimson throw to keep the flow of the decor going throughout the room.

I pourposly placed the wall statue exactly where it is because the light that shines in from the skylites create an almost religious vision. I wanted to assimulate the effect that stainglass windows have on the inside of a church. The windows now have a soft golden sheer curtains.

This is what the walll looks like with the candles lit. It created a calming effect while laying down.

With the wall candles lit no lights had to be turned on. The soft glow not only gave light and heat, but it also created a very romantic mood.
